This individual project is designed to have the student apply all knowledge learned about lamp sources, luminaires and corresponding components, methods and effects of illumination, human needs, psychological and physiological aspects of lighting, energy issues and efficacy as they are influenced by luminaire design to design a custom luminaire prototype.
